SIX INGREDIENTS IN EVERY JOURNEY
Beautiful places are only the beginning. To me, a great adventure isn’t about ticking off sights or racing from A to B. It’s about how you move through a place, what you discover along the way, and the unexpected moments that become part of the story.
No two journeys are ever the same, but all of my adventures share six essential ingredients:
1. Go where others don't
We’re not following the usual trails to the usual places.
I’ve spent thousands of hours over the past 14 years exploring, designing, and refining my own routes to lead you deep into the Algarve's most undiscovered corners, and to places and moments you won’t find any other way.
3. Slow down to soak it up
The point isn’t just getting from A to B.
Along the trail, I make plenty of space to stop, wander, look closer, and simply take it all in. We'll experience this place not just with our eyes, but with our whole bodies, our full attention, and all our senses.
5. Leave room for surprises
My tours are carefully crafted, but never scripted.
Each trip is made from scratch and shaped as we go, adapting to the people, conversations, wildlife, weather, tides, and the unique encounters of the trail, in ways no itinerary ever could. Every trip is unique.
2. Earn the views
I get it: Parking lot views just aren't enough.
We're going to use our legs, hearts, and whole bodies to leave the beaten path far behind, always adapting to the energy and comfort of the group as we go. The only requirement? A bit of effort and the spirit for adventure.
4. Bring the land to life
This place has stories to tell.
Through storytelling and hands-on learning, I’ll help reveal the hidden layers of this remarkable landscape, from the geology beneath your feet and the wildlife around you, to the human history, traditions, and legends etched into these cliffs.
6. Finish with full hearts and stomachs
Good food tastes even better after a day outside.
That’s why my signature hikes include homemade Algarvian tapas: carefully sourced, prepared by me, and shared together someplace magical at sunset. You'll go home refreshed, reward, and ready for a good night's sleep.
